June 14, 2016

Wow, halfway through 2016 already!! We are loving these summer days and enjoying more time outside. The boys are a lot of energy and we are thankful to have a new house with a yard and driveway. There have been a lot of changes these past few months...

1. We are PREGNANT and due September 23!
2. The baby is a GIRL!
3. We bought a house in April!
4. James and Graeme are growing up and are so much fun right now!!

JAMES is still hilarious and loves to tell "jokes" (example. "why did the dinosaur cross the road? He wanted to get some lemonade from the lemonade store!"). He is very creative and loves to make up songs, "play battles" with superheroes or ninjas and color. Some of his favorite activities are playing with Legos, having superhero fights with mom or dad, playing games, playing baseball in the yard, going to the beach or pool and playing with friends. He is very sweet and sensitive and loves to be with mom, listen to dad read stories about Jesus at breakfast, color pictures for particular family members and more! He and Graeme are starting to actually play together more which has been really fun to watch... they do fight too, but we are trying to help them work through it and figure out how to be brothers!

GRAEME has really taken off the past few months! He is so much fun and almost always happy (even when he wakes up at 5:45 am!). He is talking a lot and tries to repeat what we say, often repeating people's names or phrases! Some of his favorite words are " what's that?" "wa" (water)," "boat" "truck" "guy" (for any of James' superhero guys) "night night" "hello!" "up please" "ice" "chocolate" and "Where's James?" He loves to dance around the house even without music, build roads and train tracks, race cars, color with chalk outside, swing, play in the pool, blow bubbles and buckle his own car seat in the car. He absolutely loves James and does everything that he does... which means a lot of tooting and burping these days! Graeme even says "potty" and climbs up on the potty after James goes, and then flushes. He doesn't actually go but it is adorable.

Here's a little glimpse of the past few months. We are so thankful for all of you loving us and supporting us through all of life's changes and struggles (while pregnant... I am quite tired and my leg and back pain is pretty bad so I am so thankful for all of the help we've gotten the past few months. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!)
