Spring has sprung! We are loving these warm days and recognizing even more how great it is to be where we live. Winter has felt like a long season as we bundle the boys up to walk to the car, and Graeme has had some long days and nights, but the past few months have flown by and have been very full of fun trips and rapidly changing boys!

Graeme has had a rough couple of months as we have tried many different things to make him happy and get him on a good schedule, but he seems to be turning a corner (maybe he just needed the warm weather!). He loves to watch his brother, laugh, push up on his knees to try to crawl, sit up and play with toys, feed himself, swing at the park and ride in the stroller.

James is talking at an incredible rate and is such a joy to be around (except when he intentionally ignores us and thinks it's funny!) Some of our favorite things that he says right now are "I will help you, let me get that black chair (to stand on)", "Let's go down the stairs together", "what are you doing here?" "Where did you go? you were in the black car. you listen to truck songs!" ,"Let me get in the car with myself." and even making up silly words like "bunga bunga!" and "Ba-show-ee!"

He is really into sports now and loving the driving range, playing tee ball outside or shooting hoops on his little basketball hoop inside. He also still loves trucks, doing puzzles, reading books, watching "PAW Patrol", minions, coloring, making smoothies, playing with bubbles outside and dancing. He's starting to interact more with Graeme and sharing toys with him or kissing him on the head and saying "Good night, Graeme" before bed.

Here's a glimpse of our growing boys!

WEEK 24
After an "adventurous" (long) start to our trip with flight delays, cancelled flights and an unexpected overnight in Houston, we made it to ROATAN, HONDURAS! We enjoyed watching James playing in the sand with shovels and trucks, swimming with dolphins, some yummy dinners, snorkeling, massage on the beach and time with Jim and Cari. We had a few difficult days with Graeme crying a lot (maybe because he was so hot) and Brandon and Rachel getting food poisioning (Rachel's was the worst on the flight home!) but we enjoyed the warm weather and family time!

Entertaining ourselves during flight delays

WEEK 25
We returned to a very cold week in Maryland, so we had some fun playdates inside and James learned to make stove top popcorn! We got more snow too!
