September 8, 2016

What a fun summer! James and Graeme are at such fun ages that we have really enjoyed lots of play time and activities. Some days I definitely struggle having energy to play with them (especially these days as I approach 38 weeks!) but they are mostly just enjoyable and hilarious right now. We spend a lot of time outside at the pool or the beach, or just running around our yard. The boys are playing together a lot more (and fighting, but learning to communicate a little better with each other) and loving Hot wheels races, puzzles, coloring, jumping on the trampoline, painting, "building" with pretend tools and Legos! Graeme is talking up a storm and wants to do everything himself (saying " I will do it!") and we have loved listening to the boys chat together. I'm hopeful that they will love to play together even more when their baby sister arrives! Here's a glimpse of our summer!

It is really hard to imagine our life changing so much with our new addition in a few weeks....or how often I will have time to update this blog :-) but thank you to all of you for the encouragement and support you've given to us this summer! We are so thankful for such great family and friends to share life with.
