September 16, 2013 - 43 weeks!

James will be TEN MONTHS tomorrow! He has been so much fun recently. He is army crawling and making new discoveries every day as he gets around the house. He loves to touch everything and hit them so he can hear what it sounds like, often banging random items together...and of course putting everything in his mouth to see what it tastes like. It is so fun for us to just watch his reaction to a new sight, sound or touch. He seems like such a little boy these days and it's hard to believe how quickly the past ten months have gone by. We are seeing glimpses of what is just around the bend as he pushes himself up into a full crawl, "dances" while standing at a musical table (we put him there, but he can stand!), crying when he wants something, drool from the 5th and 6th teeth about to pop out and getting into everything that we try to keep away from him. So far we have been successful with a fairly large area gated off to the rest of our apartment but there are things that we didn't know we needed to baby proof that he gets into - He can even pull wine bottles and coffee mugs off shelves! Here is a glimpse of our life these days....

WEEK 39

WEEK 40

WEEK 41

EARLY morning flight to Minneapolis...Flight problems and delays but James is happy anyway!

Fun Labor Day weekend with Erik, Lacey and Grete Iverson in Minneapolis (A few highlights include meeting Wyatt Moberg and having first taste of ice cream!)

Lots of play time with Landon (they are together at least four days a week and are starting to really love each other, laughing and "playing" together)

Outdoor playtime with mom in our "front lawn" (aka State Circle)

Play date with Rosie Murray and Ruby Burleigh

Outdoor happy hour with friends (James loves being outside and checking out people and dogs!)
