Cloud Family: December 2013

Well two months have gone by since our last post! We've been busy with our active little one year old and loving his interaction and development that seems to happen overnight! James is standing and walking along furniture, even standing on his own at times, so we think walking will happen pretty soon. He is pointing at things that he wants (which can often be annoying), and likes to feed himself with a spoon, fork or hands. He is learning more and more independence, but is also learning to be very clingy some days (especially with mom). It's hard to say no when he crawls over and looks up at us with his sweet blue eyes asking to be picked up! It has been so amazing to me to watch him grow this past year, and recently think about the fact that he is not unlike Jesus at this phase. It's incredible that God would choose to send his son in the form of a child, and to think about Jesus crawling around and exploring just like James is pretty unbelievable. We are incredibly blessed and grateful for our son and are excited to spend Christmas with him! Here's an update of the past few months.

WEEK 48

Pumpkin Patch with mom and dad

Attempt to go to Bay Area's trunk or treat (lasts 5 minutes because Landon is scared)

Since James has turned one, I'm done with the weekly updates... It's getting harder to remember what happened each week and to find time to update as often... I will try my best, but here's what we've been up to since his birthday!

Flying to Montana for Thanksgiving! James did GREAT on the plane (we got a surprise extra seat on the way there which helped a lot!)
